Name :
Recombinant Human CTLA4, Fc-tagged
Specification :
| Description : This gene is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and encodes a protein which transmits an inhibitory signal to T cells. The protein contains a V domain, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic tail. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized. The membrane-bound isoform functions as a homodimer interconnected by a disulfide bond, while the soluble isoform functions as a monomer. Mutations in this gene have been associated with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, Graves disease, Hashimoto thyroiditis, celiac disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, thyroid-associated orbitopathy, and other autoimmune diseases. | Conjugation : Fc | Tissue specificity : Widely expressed with highest levels in lymphoid tissues. | Form : Lyophilised:Reconstitute in sterile 18MOhm/cm water to not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. | Purity : >95% by SDS-PAGE | Storage buffer : Preservative: NoneNo additives | Storage : Shipped at 4°C. Upon delivery aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles. | Sequences of amino acids : The sequence of the amino acids was determined and was found to be: Lys-Ala-Met-His-Val. | Sequence Similarities : Contains 1 Ig-like V-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain.
