Name :
Recombinant Human CTLA4, His-tagged, Biotinylated

Specification :
| Description : This gene is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and encodes a protein which transmits an inhibitory signal to T cells. The protein contains a V domain, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic tail. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized. The membrane-bound isoform functions as a homodimer interconnected by a disulfide bond, while the soluble isoform functions as a monomer. Mutations in this gene have been associated with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, Graves disease, Hashimoto thyroiditis, celiac disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, thyroid-associated orbitopathy, and other autoimmune diseases. | Source : HEK293 | Species : Human | Tag : His | Form : Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4. Normally Trehalose are added as protectants before lyophilization. | Molecular Mass : Biotinylated CTLA4 /CD152, fused with 6×His tag at the C-terminus, has a calculated MW of 14.3 kDa. The predicted N-terminus is Ala 37 . DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 25 kDa due to glycosylation. | Endotoxin : Less than 1.0 EU per μg of the Biotinylated CTLA4 /CD152 by the LAL method. | Purity : >95% as determined by reduced SDS-PAGE. | Storage : Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. No activity loss was observed after storage at: In lyophilized state for 1 year (4°C); After reconstitution under sterile conditions for 3 months (-70°C).
