Name :
Recombinant Human Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 2

Specification :
| Cat. No. : FGFR2-489H | Description : This protein functions as a modifier of endothelial cell migration and proliferation, as well as an angiogenic factor. It acts as a mitogen for a variety of mesoderm- and neuroectoderm-derived cells in vitro, thus is thought to be involved in organogenesis. Three alternatively spliced variants encoding different isoforms have been described. The heparin-binding growth factors are angiogenic agents in vivo and are potent mitogens for a variety of cell types in vitro. There are differences in the tissue distribution and concentration of these 2 growth factors. | Source : Mammalian cells | Molecular Weight : The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Human FGF R2α (IIIc) is Mr 66 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 100-110 kDa. | State Of Matter : Lyophilized. | Purity : > 90% by SDS Page and analyzed by silver stain. | Endotoxin : | Storage And Stability : This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°C to 8°C for one month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. See Product Insert for exact lot specific storage instructions.
