Name :
Recombinant Human HSPE1, His-tagged
Specification :
| Description : This gene encodes a major heat shock protein which functions as a chaperonin. Its structure consists of a heptameric ring which binds to another heat shock protein in order to form a symmetric, functional heterodimer which enhances protein folding in an ATP-dependent manner. This gene and its co-chaperonin, HSPD1, are arranged in a head-to-head orientation on chromosome 2. Naturally occurring read-through transcription occurs between this locus and the neighboring locus MOBKL3. | Source : E. coli | Species : Human | Tag : His | Appearance : Liquid, clear solution | Form : Supplied as a 0.2 µm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). | Endotoxin : None | Purity : >95% | Applications : ELISA, Western blotting, Dot Blotting, Immunogen, Protein Array, Function Assay, etc. | Usage : This product is furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. Not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. | Storage : Upon arrival, the protein may be stored for two weeks at 2 to 8 °C. For long term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) and store at -20 °C or -80 °C in appropriate aliquots. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. | Concentration : Lot specific (see the label on the vial).
