Background :
CD99 is cell surface protein expressed on multiple diferent cell types, including lymphocytes, that is involved in a range of cellular processes including cellular adhesion and migration, apoptosis and cell survival, T-cell diferentiation, and cancer biology [PMID: 29305692, PMID: 29534016]. Moreover, CD99 is ofen expressed on myeloid and lymphoid leukemia cells and can both aid in leukemia diagnosis and correlate with prognosis [PMID: 27764235, PMID: 21487112, PMID: 30484860].

Product Details FAQ Citations(1) Video Pictures Documents |Overview |Description The protein encoded by this gene is a cell surface glycoprotein involved in leukocyte migration, T-cell adhesion, ganglioside GM1 and transmembrane protein transport, and T-cell death by a caspase-independent pathway. In addition, the encoded protein may have the ability to rearrange the actin cytoskeleton and may also act as an oncosuppressor in osteosarcoma. Cyclophilin A binds to CD99 and may act as a signaling regulator of CD99. This gene is found in the pseudoautosomal region of chromosomes X and Y and escapes X-chromosome inactivation. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Rabbit anti-CD99 Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody(R122)
Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.Related websites: https://www.medchemexpress.com/antibodies.html
