Name :
Active Recombinant Human DYRK3 Protein, GST-tagged
Specification :
| Description : This gene product belongs to the DYRK family of dual-specificity protein kinases that catalyze autophosphorylation on serine/threonine and tyrosine residues. The members of this family share structural similarity, however, differ in their substrate specificity, suggesting their involvement in different cellular functions. The encoded protein has been shown to autophosphorylate on tyrosine residue and catalyze phosphorylation of histones H3 and H2B in vitro. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008] | Source : Insect cells | Species : Human | Tag : GST | Form : Liquid | Bio-activity : The activity was measured by off-chip mobility shift assay. The enzyme was incubated with fluorescence-labeled substrate and Mg(or Mn)/ATP. The phosphorylated and unphosphorylated substrates were separated and detected by LabChip 3000. Substrate: DYRKtide-F. ATP: 100 μM. | Molecular Mass : 93 kDa | Purity : 93 % by SDS-PAGE/CBB staining | Applications : Functional StudySDS-PAGE | Storage : Store at -80 centigrade. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. | Storage Buffer : In 50 mM Tris-HCl, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.5 (0.1% CHAPS, 1 mM DTT, 10% glycerol)
